Akbar Fida Hussain joined OLIVE Technical Services as Chief Operating Officer in March 2022. With over 30 years of diverse experience in the fertilizers sector, he has held key leadership roles including Head of Production, Head of QHSE, Head of Business Development, and Head of Corporate Strategy. His diverse background and strategic vision have been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and operational excellence. In the role of COO, Mr Akbar is dedicated to nurture a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that OLIVE consistently meet client expectations and achieve sustainable growth.

Tajamul Waqas joined OLIVE Technical Services in February 2022 as Head of Industrial Services. With 16 years of experience in the petrochemical sector, he has a strong background in maintenance & reliability management of rotating equipment maintenance, Maintenance planning and Scheduling of a fertilizer plant. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Tajamul has successfully led and managed multiple large-scale projects, including turnarounds of ammonia-urea complexes and the installation and commissioning of Rotating and stationary equipments.  His expertise in project execution and leadership has made him a valuable asset to OLIVE’s industrial services division.

Tariq Siddique Chaudhry joined OLIVE Technical Services in April 2022 as Head of Technical Services. Before joining OLIVE, he served in the fertilizer sector, where he excelled as Section Head of Electrical and later as Manager of Business Development. His expertise also encompasses the field of renewable energy, including wind farm engineering from its conceptual stage to design, detailed engineering design, drawing approvals from NTDC, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and testing. With a commitment to driving technical excellence, he plays a supportive role in our technical initiatives and is dedicated to advancing OLIVE’s mission and vision.

Omar Afzal joined OLIVE Technical services in July 2024 as the Head of Costing and Proposals. He has more than 15 years of experience in the fields of Maintenance, Reliability, TA & Projects management at various fertilizer and petro-chemical plants. Prior to joining OLIVE Tech, Omar was working as Reliability Manager at DESCON Engineering. He contributed to the establishment of asset management portfolio. Previously he has worked as Reliability manager of DESCON Oxychem Ltd. He led organizational transformation of maintenance & reliability function to achieve world class reliability performance. He has worked as mechanical maintenance & reliability engineer at FFC for more than a decade, contributing to consistent world class performance.

Waqas Habib joined OLIVE technical services in October 2024 as Engineering Services Head, with over 25 years of experience in fertilizer, power, and petrochemical industry. His expertise encompasses Process Designing and Contact Engineering, Managing Engineering Team Functions, HAZOP, Development of RFP, Contract Negotiations, Basic and Detailed design reviews, Process Simulation using Aspen HYSYS and Thermoflow software modules. In his role as Engineering Services Head, Waqas is focused on executing digitalization initiatives within the company and leading engineering teams to deliver high-quality projects for clients both inside and outside the country.

Waqas Ur Rehman Hashmi joined OLIVE Technical Services in January 2024 as the Head of Business Development. With 15 years of experience in Power Generation, Engineering Services, Oil & Gas, and Fertilizer sectors, he has a solid industrial background. As a results-driven business development professional, he is focused on delivering measurable impact on key business indicators. His strong background in business development, marketing, supply chain, and operations positions him to contribute effectively to OLIVE’s growth and success in the industry. He is committed to utilize his expertise to cultivate strong relationships and drive strategic initiatives within the industry.
